Gainford House is a "Good" Rated CQC Service we work with adults with Learning Disabilities and or Autism within a Service, we also work with customers in the community delivering a domiciliary care model.
Typical day
- Assist customers with their daily living tasks developing their independence, achieve their goals aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans
- Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services
- Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments
- Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews
- Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

You have
- A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this
- Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail
- Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally
- Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach
- A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs, recognising that every customer is different
- To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
Job details
- Flexible working hours
- We pay £50 per sleep in shift
- We’re looking for you to work at Gainford House Service ( People with Learning Disabilities and or Autism within a Service, we also work with customers in the community delivering a domiciliary care model).
- Using technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
- You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
