Tea Barista – HEYTEA Birmingham
HEYTEA Birmingham is currently recruiting friendly, dependable, and motivated Tea Baristas to become part of our team.
Established in 2012, HEYTEA is an internationally recognised tea brand known for creating innovative tea beverages and maintaining high standards of quality. In this role, you will prepare drinks in line with HEYTEA standards, deliver excellent service to customers, and contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the store.
This position would suit someone who enjoys teamwork, performs well in a busy environment, and is committed to maintaining consistent standards in both product quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of tea-based drinks accurately and consistently, following HEYTEA recipes and preparation standards
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide welcoming, efficient service
- Use drink-making equipment and POS systems correctly and safely
- Handle both cash and card transactions accurately
- Support ingredient preparation, stock replenishment, and other general store duties
- Keep all working areas clean, tidy, organised, and hygienic throughout the shift
- Work effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining drink quality and service standards
- Follow company procedures as well as all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Cooperate with colleagues to support efficient and smooth daily store operations
Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, retail, or customer service is preferred, although not required, as full training will be provided
- Friendly, responsible, and dependable, with a positive attitude towards work
- Able to stay organised and work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes, instructions, and operational procedures
- Reliable timekeeping and commitment to scheduled shifts
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Willing to learn, improve, and develop within the position
