Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Supporting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
- Moving materials around the site safely and efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work environment
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Operating basic machinery or tools as required, subject to training and competence
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks and lifting
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards on-site
- Relevant certifications or licences (such as CSCS card) are desirable but not mandatory
