Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations efficiently and safely. The Delivery Driver will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate LWB commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally with LWB commercial vehicles
- Previous experience in delivery driver roles demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling
Essential
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Applicant must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
