Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering our bars, glassware, and stock to the client's locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining friendly, polite interactions with clients.
This role requires excellent driving skills, strong organisational abilities, and exceptional communication skills to provide outstanding customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Optional (a plus if you have it):
Bar Experience
Availability Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends as needed.
- Flexible schedule preferred, with the ability to work varying shifts based on business needs.
This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction are paramount. We welcome applicants who are committed to delivering excellent service while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
At The Cocktail Lab, we create premium cocktail experiences for corporate clients, private celebrations and exclusive venues across London.
This is not a standard van driving role.
Driving is only one part of the job. You'll take ownership of the entire logistics process—from loading equipment in our warehouse, to delivering and setting up mobile bars, through to collecting everything once the event is complete.
No two days are the same. One day you could be delivering to a prestigious corporate headquarters, the next to a private residence or one of London's most exclusive event venues.
Every event is an opportunity to create an unforgettable customer experience. Your role is to ensure that every bar, every piece of equipment and every delivery arrives exactly as expected, allowing the event team to perform at its very best.
You'll also represent The Cocktail Lab whenever you're on-site. Professionalism, reliability and a customer-first mindset are just as important as your driving skills.
What you'll do
- Load company vans with beverages, fresh ingredients and event equipment
- Drive company vehicles across London
- Deliver equipment safely and on time
- Set up mobile bars before events
- De-rig and pack down after events
- Collect equipment and return it safely to the warehouse
- Keep stock, vehicles and equipment organised and event-ready
- Work closely with the Operations team to deliver every event to the highest standard
Ownership & Continuous Improvement
We value people who take ownership of what they do.
If you identify smarter routes, better ways to organise equipment or practical improvements that help us operate more efficiently, we'll always be happy to listen. In a business like ours, good ideas can come from anyone.
The role
The events industry has natural peaks throughout the year. Periods such as Bank Holidays, the Christmas season and the start of summer are particularly busy and require flexibility, teamwork and a hands-on attitude. During quieter periods, the focus shifts towards preparation, maintenance and continuously improving the way we work.
We're looking for someone who
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Is reliable, organised and punctual
- Is comfortable with manual handling and lifting equipment
- Enjoys working in different locations across London
- Has a professional, customer-first attitude
- Takes ownership and pays attention to detail
- Is proactive, flexible and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
- Is proud to represent The Cocktail Lab at every event
Why join The Cocktail Lab?
- Flexible working hours
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- A varied role where no two days are the same
- The opportunity to work in prestigious corporate offices, private residences and exclusive venues across London
- The chance to contribute to a business that values quality, ownership and continuous improvement
- A close-knit team where your contribution is visible and your ideas are heard
If you're looking for more than just a driving job and want to play an important role in delivering exceptional events, we'd love to hear from you.
