About PAR72
PAR72 is a modern sports bar and social entertainment venue combining live sport, golf simulation, great drinks, and crowd-pleasing food in a relaxed, energetic atmosphere. We’re building a kitchen focused on quality, consistency, speed, and great customer experience.
We’re looking for a reliable, organised, hands-on Senior Cook / Kitchen Manager to lead day-to-day kitchen operations and help shape a simple but excellent food offering.
Start date
We do not yet have a confirmed opening date for the facility, which means we are unable to provide an exact start date. However, we are aiming for October/November should all building works go to plan. We are keen to build a strong team ahead of opening, so it’s important that any potential candidates are comfortable with a degree of flexibility and are happy to wait until we are ready to launch.
The role
You’ll be responsible for running the kitchen service, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, managing stock and prep, and helping create a smooth, efficient kitchen operation.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced service and can confidently lead a small kitchen team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to a consistently high standard
- Lead kitchen service during busy periods
- Manage prep, stock rotation, and ordering
- Maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Control portioning and minimise waste
- Always ensure kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Work with management to develop and improve menu items
- Monitor kitchen performance and service times
- Open and close the kitchen when required
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Leadership experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and major sporting events
Ideal experience
- Sports bar, pub, casual dining, or street food kitchen experience
- Kitchen supervisor or senior line cook experience
- Experience with stock ordering and kitchen management systems
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
