We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating large commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in flatbed and general driving will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, including flatbed trucks, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Deliver goods to multiple locations accurately and on schedule, adhering to designated routes and delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Secure loads properly on flatbed trucks, ensuring safe transportation of all cargo
- Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and route sheets with precision
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other road users at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience involving flatbed loads
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for large vehicle operation
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as securing loads on flatbeds and performing vehicle inspections
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning software is advantageous
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor when representing the company on the road

We are looking for drivers for day shifts and also trampers- for day shifts earning can start from £1000 per week if working 5 days , and for trampers from £1100 for 5 days
