Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and a background in hotel management. Duties
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, providing guidance and support to uphold service excellence
- Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate with food & beverage, and other departments to meet operational standards
- Assist with human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory management, and cash handling
- Support the management team in implementing organisational policies and procedures
- Act as the point of contact during shifts for escalated guest issues or emergencies
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in a high profile restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
- Excellent guest service skills with a professional demeanour
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous for communicating with international guests
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations
- Experience in hospitality operations, including front desk management or guest services
- Organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
