West Malling Golf Club, situated near West Malling village, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our clubhouse team during both weekdays & weekends, reporting directly to our Hospitality Manager.
You must be hard working and enthusiastic, eager to provide nothing but the highest service standards to our members and visitors.
Responsibilities / Duties
The role will assist the Hospitality Manager in the day-to-day operation of our busy club and will have responsibility for ensuring members and guest expectations are exceeded at every opportunity.
The role involves shift work Monday - Sunday and hours vary due to the nature and seasonal demands of the business.
Duties will include serving our friendly customers food & drink, setting up & clearing away after functions, using the till, always making sure that the bar is maintained, performing cellar maintenance, cashing up the tills, closing & opening the business as required.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as working as a Bar supervisor or similar senior environment
- Able to work shifts which will cover weekdays, some evening functions and weekends.
- Comfortable working as part of a team as well as using own initiative
- Able to process orders promptly with a focus on customer care
- Smart appearance
- Able to work under pressure whilst dealing with the general public
- Fleixble avaialbilty.
The applicant must be very organized, motivated, confident, hardworking and must possess good customer service skills, supervisiory skills and be able to work with a team to manage a shift. The applicant should work well under pressure, and with minimal supervision. He/she should also be able to work independently or as part of a large team.
Pay: From £13.90 per hour
