At Spring Hill House, we're creating a therapeutic three-bedroom children's home where children experience consistency, compassionate care and meaningful relationships that help them build trust, develop confidence and embrace a brighter future.
We're looking for an exceptional Founding Registered Children's Home Manager to help bring that vision to life.
This is a rare opportunity to establish a brand-new children's home from registration through to opening, shaping its culture, values and standards from the very beginning.
What you'll be doing
As our Founding Registered Manager you will:
- Lead the Ofsted registration of the home.
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team.
- Create a positive, therapeutic culture focused on children achieving the best possible outcomes.
- Ensure the home operates in accordance with the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding requirements.
- Build effective relationships with local authorities, families and partner agencies.
- Develop systems, policies and procedures ready for opening.
- Provide outstanding leadership, coaching and support to your team.
- Work closely with the Directors throughout the registration and opening process.

We're looking for someone who:
- Holds, or is working towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Has experience leading or supporting a children's residential home.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and children's home regulations.
- Leads with warmth, integrity and authenticity.
- Believes exceptional care is built through relationships, consistency and compassion.
- Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for children.
