About the Role

At Crexed AI and Software Solutions, we build AI-powered applications, automation platforms, intelligent chatbots, custom software and business integrations that help organisations streamline operations and scale effectively.
We are looking for an Automation Solutions Manager to lead the delivery of intelligent automation projects for clients across a variety of industries. You will oversee the design, implementation and optimisation of automation solutions while working closely with software engineers, AI specialists, solution architects and project managers.
This role is ideal for an experienced technology professional with strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of business process automation and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Strategy: Lead the planning and delivery of intelligent automation initiatives aligned with client and business objectives.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design scalable automation workflows, AI integrations and software solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee automation projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post implementation support.
- Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to understand operational challenges and recommend suitable automation solutions.
- Process Analysis: Review existing business processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation.
- Technology Integration: Coordinate the integration of APIs, cloud services, AI models and third party business systems.
- Team Leadership: Manage automation engineers, software developers and implementation specialists while supporting professional development.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure automation solutions are thoroughly tested, secure, reliable and compliant with company standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Measure automation effectiveness using operational metrics, service performance and business outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify technical risks, project dependencies and implementation challenges while developing mitigation plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend improvements to products, workflows and delivery methods.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, technical specifications and operational procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, resource updates and project performance summaries for senior leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, automation, digital transformation or business systems, including leadership responsibility.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Automation Expertise: Strong understanding of workflow automation, API integration, AI-powered business solutions and process optimisation.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms, REST APIs, automation tools and modern software development environments.
- Project Management: Proven experience managing multiple technical projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams while maintaining high delivery standards.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate business processes and develop practical automation strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve complex technical and operational challenges in a structured manner.
- Organisation: Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Pay: £46,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
