Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Holiday Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of our seasonal camp. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering exceptional guest services while managing organisational tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the holiday camp, including activities, accommodation, and guest services
- Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to ensure high standards of service and safety
- Develop programmes and activities suitable for diverse age groups and interests
- Manage bookings, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently, ensuring smooth guest experiences
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain health and safety protocols in line with regulatory requirements
- Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of facilities to uphold hygiene standards
- Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and team meetings to promote a cohesive working environment
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the hospitality or leisure sector
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Experience in guest services with a focus on delivering exceptional customer care
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to holiday camps or similar settings is desirable
- Be able to work on the following dates from 945am to 215pm:
- Week 1 - 27th - 30th July
- Week 2 - 3rd - 6th Aug
- Week 3 - 10th - 13th Aug
