They're now looking for an Accountant to join their expanding team.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone with experience in practice who enjoys managing client relationships as much as producing high-quality accounts.
You'll take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts from planning through to completion, meeting directly with business owners, identifying opportunities to add value, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Alongside your client work, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues, review work, and play an active role in maintaining the high standards the firm is known for.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering statutory accounts to a consistently high standard.
- Planning assignments, including identifying pre-year-end tax planning opportunities.
- Preparing, reviewing and finalising annual accounts within agreed timescales.
- Meeting clients to discuss their accounts, answer queries and identify opportunities for additional advice and services.
- Building long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional client service.
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients and maintaining accurate client records.
- Using cloud accounting and practice management software to deliver an efficient, technology-led service.
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance, coaching and constructive feedback.
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio.
- Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with clients.
- A proactive and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Experience reviewing or supporting the work of junior colleagues would be advantageous.
