The role
Eastleigh Borough Council are looking for an enthusiastic and trustworthy individual to join a friendly cleaning team your main place of work would be Itchen Valley Country Park however there is the prospect of additional hours to cover sickness absences and annual leave.
The duties are varied and include manual work such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and toilet and kitchen cleaning with use of various cleaning equipment. Training will be provided.
About you
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, able to work on your own initiative, adaptable and show an ability to be organised, reliable and want to help us ensure that our buildings are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.
The successful candidate will be required to cover cleaning at various sites across the Borough; therefore, a driving license and own transport is essential for the role. The venues are very varied with country parks, theatres, public toilets, office buildings to name a few.
No experience in commercial cleaning is necessary, however, preference will be given to those who have such experience, as well as to those trained in COSHH.
