Duties
- Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and masonry tasks to support project progress
- Performing construction painting and finishing work to meet quality standards
- Installing and repairing plumbing systems as required
- Supporting electrical work by handling wiring and conduit installation under supervision
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Engaging in fabrication tasks on-site, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during construction activities
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, welding, or fabrication will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans is beneficial but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and quality standards within the construction industry
