Job Summary
Smart Pooches Sevenoaks is seeking a dedicated Part-Time or Full time Dog Groomer to join our friendly team.
We are seeking a groomer to work 2–5 days per week. The successful applicant must be available to work Saturdays and be willing to provide holiday cover when required.
Responsibilities
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of different sizes and coat types with care and to a high standard
- Grooming dogs of various breeds to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and organised grooming area, including sanitising tools and equipment
- Providing exceptional customer service by discussing grooming preferences and offering advice on pet care
- Handling dogs safely during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
- Managing appointments via an online scheduling system
Requirements
- Must be hardworking, punctual and reliable
- Must be level 3 qualified or equivalent
- Must have at least two years of salon experience
- Must be able to work as a part of a team and also independently
- Must be confident grooming various breeds to a high standard
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

This role would be suitable for someone who has a great passion for dog grooming and would like to further develop their skill set and progress within a small growing company.
