Job Description:
We are looking for skilled Production Bakers to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume production and experience with pastry and non-bread products such as sponges, brownies, cookies, and scones. The right attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, mix, and bake a wide range of products according to established recipes and production schedules.
- Accurately measure ingredients for large-batch production.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety, health & safety, and company guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily demands.
- Keep your workspace clean, organised, and safe.
What You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 1 year of professional baking experience in a high-volume production bakery or central prep kitchen.
- Strong experience with pastry and non-bread products (e.g, sponge cakes, scones, cookies).
- Competent math skills for accurate measuring and scaling recipes.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent time management skills.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and handle demanding tasks in a warm environment.
