Car & Commercial Solutions (CCS) is a leading specialist vehicle conversion company supplying bespoke vehicles to emergency services, local authorities and commercial fleet operators across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a number of Mechanical Production Assembly Operatives to join our production team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing high-quality assemblies, and is happy carrying out the same tasks each day whilst maintaining speed, consistency and attention to detail.
The Role
Working within our production department, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and products used within our vehicle conversions. The role is fast-paced and repetitive, so we are looking for someone who can maintain quality whilst working efficiently to production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of products and components
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Following assembly instructions and production instructions where required
- Producing consistent, high-quality work throughout the day
- Working quickly whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Carrying out quality checks on completed assemblies
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working as part of a close-knit production team
What We're Looking For
- Previous mechanical assembly or production experience is preferred but not essential.
- Confident using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Good practical skills and a strong work ethic.
- Able to work at a fast pace without compromising quality.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual assembly work throughout the working day.
What We Offer
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm.
- Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm.
