AG Hotels is looking for a dedicated "Night Porter" to join our team at Milestone Hotel Peterborough.
The candidate should be available to work on weekends and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the night shift handover and check all important information.
- Monitor the hotel throughout the night and ensure guest safety and security.
- Carry out regular security checks of the building, entrances, corridors and public areas.
- Assist guests with late check-ins, enquiries and requests.
- Handle late-night arrivals and departures professionally.
- Monitor and respond to fire alarms and other emergencies, following hotel procedures.
- Complete night audit/reception duties as required.
- Answer the telephone and deal with guest enquiries during the night.
- Keep the reception and public areas clean, tidy and presentable.
- Carry out basic cleaning duties, including corridors, lobby and other communal areas.
- Prepare areas for the morning team, including breakfast set-up where required.
- Record incidents, maintenance issues and guest complaints in the handover/logbook.
- Ensure all doors and access points are secure and report any concerns immediately.
- Follow all hotel health & safety, fire safety and security procedures.
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Peterborough PE7 3TB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Night porter: 1 year (preferred)
