As a Coordinator - Access Team, you will work closely with customers, internal colleagues and external agencies to coordinate access for critical compliance servicing and health and safety related repairs. You'll play an important role in ensuring statutory safety checks are completed, supporting compliance obligations and helping us maintain safe homes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate access arrangements for compliance servicing and health and safety related repairs.
- Assess cases and ensure all relevant policies, procedures and escalation processes are followed.
- Work with customers to understand their circumstances and achieve positive outcomes, including handling sensitive and challenging conversations.
- Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure safety checks are completed within required timescales.
- Analyse system data to identify risks and take proactive action where required.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals and act as a point of contact for access-related enquiries.

This is a full time role working 37 hours per week.
Hybrid Working is available for this role working 2-3 days in the office dependent on business need. You will be based from our Exeter office.

About The Candidate
To be a successful Coordinator, you will have the skills, knowledge and experience required for a Level 1 - Team Member role, along with the below role specific requirements:
Essential Experience
- Good understanding of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (filters, basic formulas).
- Experience of using information systems and databases.
- Pro-active, attitude with ability to make measured decisions based on own initiative.
- Proven record of problem solving
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and persevere to ensure issues are handled and concluded in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates behaviours that support delivery of great customer service.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
Essential Knowledge
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Understanding of the importance of compliance and statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of accurate record keeping and data management.
- Understanding of the importance of attention to detail.
- Awareness of customer service principles and best practice.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Essential Qualifications
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
- Level 2 Award in Asset and Building Compliance Awareness.
- Experience working within a compliance environment.
- Knowledge of housing or property-related services.
- Experience of reviewing technical or compliance documentation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical compliance activities.
