We are a well-established family business looking for an experienced Telephone Sales Executive to join our friendly, hardworking team.
This is a varied role where you’ll be speaking with trade customers, domestic customers, and larger organisations daily. We’re looking for someone professional, reliable, and confident on the phone who enjoys helping customers and working as part of a close-knit team.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Handling incoming telephone and email enquiries
- Maximising all sales opportunities
- Speaking confidently with trade and domestic customers
- Providing quotations, advice, and product information
- Upselling on enquiries and orders where appropriate
- No cold calling is required
- Processing customer orders accurately
- Building strong customer relationships
- Managing workloads in a busy environment
- Supporting colleagues and helping where needed
- Achieving personal and team targets
- Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 2.30pm
· You will be based in our office in Corby
· You will receive full training on all our products.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar sales role
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Numerate and literate with good attention to detail
- Professional and organised approach to work
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Flexible, adaptable, and reliable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
