Community Registered Nurse Private Healthcare

Location: London Community-based role within the M25

Contract: Full-time, Part time, Permanent

Exceptional nursing care. Personalised patient experience. Delivered at home.

HomeLink Healthcare is looking for an experienced Community Registered Nurse to join our growing Private Healthcare Service, delivering exceptional, consultant/GP-led nursing care to patients across London.

Working with referrals from leading private consultants, independent hospitals, GPs and healthcare providers, you'll care for patients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, combining outstanding clinical expertise with a highly personalised patient experience.

This role is ideal for experienced Community Nurses, District Nurses, IV Therapy Nurses or Registered Nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional care while building trusted relationships with patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Community Registered Nurse Private Healthcare, you will provide specialist nursing care to private patients within their own homes, ensuring every patient receives safe, responsive and personalised care throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in patients' homes

Undertaking holistic assessments, care planning and ongoing evaluation

Providing unhurried, patient-centred visits tailored to individual needs

Administering IV therapies and other specialist treatments

Managing PICC lines, Midline devices and complex wound care

Monitoring patients' clinical condition and escalating concerns appropriately

Educating and supporting patients and their families throughout treatment

Building trusted relationships through excellent communication and compassionate care

Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and professional records

Working collaboratively with private consultants, GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team

Delivering an exceptional patient experience through professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail

About You

You're an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working autonomously and is passionate about delivering exceptional community-based care.

Alongside excellent clinical skills, you'll understand the importance of providing a seamless, reassuring and highly personalised experience for every patient and family.

You will have:

- Current Adult NMC Registration with revalidation
- A minimum of three years' post-registration experience in community, acute, Private or equivalent nursing settings
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, compassionate and professional approach
- Confidence working independently within the community
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Experience in Private Healthcare

Experience working within private healthcare or delivering care to privately funded patients would be essential. You'll understand the importance of providing an exceptional patient experience, building trusted relationships and delivering responsive, personalised care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Essential Clinical Skills

Competent in IV therapy, including administration of intravenous medications

Experience in wound assessment and wound management

Proven experience managing PICC and Midline devices

Ability to work safely and independently within a community setting

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills with a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience

Experience in Private Healthcare
