PSV Glass & Glazing Ltd is an established and respected market leader supplying specialist glass solutions to the Bus, Coach and Rail industries across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, we’re excited to be recruiting 2 Trainee Installation Technicians to join our busy Installation Team.
Based from our depot in Manchester, you’ll play a vital role installing and maintaining glass on buses, coaches, trains and trams. No previous glass installation experience is required — if you’re practical, reliable, and keen to learn, we’ll train you.
What You’ll Be Doing
With full support and training, you’ll learn how to:
- Install, remove, refit and reseal glass and related products on a wide range of vehicles
- Represent PSV professionally when working on customer sites
- Accurately complete job paperwork and documentation through a PDA
- Assist with warehouse duties when required
- Support the wider team with additional tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- A full, valid manual driving licence (minimum 3 years’ driving experience)
- Aged 21 or over (Insurance requirement)
- A practical, hands-on and methodical approach
- Positive attitude, good communication skills and a professional manner
- Comfortable working days and occasional weekends
No previous glass installation experience required — just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

Pay & Benefits
- Competitive starting salary: £28,728 per annum - With the potential to increase your annual salary by up to 16% to £33,324 per annum at your first annual performance review (Subject to qualifying criteria (Including but not limited to; a positive can-do attitude, your development through your first year in both ability and skill levels and maintaining an exceptional attendance level) in line with the Company’s attendance procedure). We actively recognise and reward exceptional performance. Team members who consistently exceed targets and demonstrate an outstanding initiative, may be eligible for higher than the initial 16% performance-related pay review in your first year.
- Overtime paid at 150%
- 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays, increasing by one day each year with length of service, starting after your first full 3 years’ service, up to a maximum of 27 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.

Working Hours – 41.25hrs per week plus compulsory and voluntary overtime
