Based in the Birmingham or surrounding region, we're looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Engineer who enjoys solving engineering problems, building long-term customer relationships and wants to develop into a future Sales Management role.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established market leader and develop a rewarding career selling premium industrial equipment and the LEISTER full range of hot air tools rather than commodity products.
The Role
You'll work with manufacturers, OEM machine builders and production engineers to identify opportunities where industrial hot air technology can improve manufacturing processes.
Applications include:
- Packaging and food production
- Automotive manufacturing
- Medical and pharmaceutical equipment
- Plastics processing
- Textile production
- Electronics manufacturing
- Drying, heating, shrinking, forming and process automation
Rather than simply selling products, you'll work closely with customers to understand their manufacturing challenges and recommend the best technical solution.
What We're Looking For
Ideally you'll have experience in one or more of the following:
- Industrial sales
- Process engineering
- Manufacturing or production
- OEM machinery
- Automation or controls
- Mechanical or electrical engineering
- Technical field sales
Most importantly you'll be:
- Commercially driven
- Technically curious
- Confident talking to engineers and production managers
- Able to build lasting customer relationships
- Self-motivated and organised
- Keen to develop into a leadership position
