About the Role
Due to continued growth and expansion, Central Fleet Solutions is looking for experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team in Bathgate.
The successful candidates will operate commercial tipper vehicles, working primarily within local quarries and delivering aggregates, asphalt/tar and other building materials to construction sites and customers throughout the local area.
Full training will be provided, with excellent opportunities for progression within our growing business.
What We're Looking For
- Class 2 HGV driving licence – required
- Valid HGV Driver CPC
- Quarry or construction industry experience – preferred
- MPQC/MPQC Card – preferred
- Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience – preferred
- Good understanding of HGV compliance and drivers' hours
- Strong commitment to professional driving standards
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently while being part of a friendly team
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting aggregates, asphalt/tar and other building materials
- Delivering materials to construction sites and customer locations
- Operating safely within active quarries and busy construction environments
- Completing daily vehicle safety and defect checks
- Ensuring vehicles are operated in accordance with legal and company requirements
- Complying with drivers' hours, working time and HGV regulations
- Maintaining a professional standard when representing the company
- Reporting any vehicle defects, incidents or operational issues promptly
