Job Purpose
To manage the day-to-day operation of a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–25, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily running of the supported accommodation service.
- Lead, supervise, and support staff to deliver high-quality support.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee assessments, support plans, risk assessments, and case records.
- Work with local authorities and partner agencies to support young people.
- Monitor service performance, occupancy, and quality standards.
- Promote young people's independence, education, employment, and move-on opportunities.
Essential Requirements
- Experience managing supported accommodation, housing, or a similar support service.
- Experience working with vulnerable young people aged 16–25.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and housing support.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with partner agencies and manage a diverse team.
Desirable
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or willingness to work towards it.
- Knowledge of supported accommodation standards and relevant legislation.
- Full UK driving licence (where required).
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
