Hours: 18 hours per week (3 days)
Salary: DPA Level 1-6 (£25,364 - £36,351 pro rata)

Dudley Performing Arts (DPA) is a leading delivery partner within the Black Country Music Education Hub, providing high-quality music education to schools, academies, colleges and community settings across the Dudley borough.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Keyboard Specialist to join our team of dedicated arts educators. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young musicians through a varied programme of individual, small-group and ensemble teaching across schools and our thriving evening Music School at Cable Plaza.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished keyboard player with excellent musical knowledge, a broad understanding of music theory and musicianship, strong communication skills and a passion for developing young people's musical potential.
You will deliver:

One-to-one and small-group keyboard tuition in schools and colleges

Evening teaching at our state-of-the-art Music School based at Cable Plaza

High-quality learning experiences for children and young people of all ages and abilities

Weekly rehearsals and performance opportunities through a keyboard ensemble

Support for Dudley Performing Arts' wider programme of music education
Our tutors work with over 90% of schools across Dudley, delivering an exciting and inclusive programme of music education. All Arts Educator contracts include a 20% flexible fixed-term element, which helps accommodate annual changes in school timetables and service demand while providing greater stability for staff and the organisation.

Ideally, the successful candidate will commence employment from 2nd November 2026, although an alternative start date may be agreed for the right candidate.
