Job Summary
The Community Care Worker plays a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need within the community. This position involves working closely with clients to enhance their quality of life by assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in meal preparation and nutritional needs.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor client’s health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by the organisation.

The standard shifts are: 6am till 3pm 3pm till 11pm
