We are looking for a PSV driver to drive our Party Buses.
various sizes ranging from LWB Van to Tri Axle 15m Coach.
We are looking for a casual driver who will be able to cover Friday, Saturdays & Sundays.
The ideal candidate would be available Fri-Sun and would suit someone looking for casual work.
The job will be driving the party buses which will involve a clean up between hires as we can have multiple hires booked on in a day (Fridays are usually 1-3 hires, Saturdays 4-5 hires and Sundays 1-3 hires)
Key attributes for the job are reliability, being a careful, competent driver with a maximum of 3 points and holding a valid cat D bus licence for at least 4 years.
You will need digi card and CPC. You must be a friendly, tolerant person who can enjoy the party atmosphere on the bus. However, a lot of the job will be driving an empty bus from one booking to another.
The Sunday it will be mainly children’s hires which involves picking up the customer, go a short drive then usually parking up to allow the children to move about freely on the bus. Then slow drive back and drop them off.
Friday Saturdays are usually children's hires early then adult hires later in the evenings.
The buses are located in Motherwell ML1 and we cover mainly between Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayr & Fife.
Competitive rates of pay which we can discuss with the candidate however on a Saturday full day for example its £220-280 as an average.
Drivers are often tipped also.
