About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and develop our domiciliary care service.

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring that care is delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of care and support.
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, company policies and relevant legislation.
- Prepare the service for CQC inspections and maintain strong evidence of regulatory compliance.
- Recruit, supervise, support and retain a reliable and compassionate care team.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate induction, training, supervision and performance reviews.
- Oversee care assessments, care plans and risk assessments to ensure they remain accurate and person-centred.
- Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents and other operational issues appropriately.
- Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Oversee staff rotas and care delivery to ensure visits are appropriately covered.
- Support the growth and development of the service while maintaining excellent standards of care.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide management reports as required.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous management experience within domiciliary care/home care.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or be working towards/relevant equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act, safeguarding and adult social care requirements.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Experience managing care staff and delivering high-quality services.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence dealing with service users, families, professionals and commissioners.
- A commitment to promoting dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care.
- Good IT and record-keeping skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager would be highly desirable.
