We are recruiting for a Field Service Driver / Delivery & Maintenance Operative to join our client based in Newbury.
This is a varied, hands-on field-based role involving driving, customer deliveries, customer service, equipment servicing, maintenance and installations. You will travel to customer sites, complete deliveries and equipment exchanges, carry out basic servicing and maintenance, and provide a professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver equipment and supplies to customer sites.
- Drive the company vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload deliveries and equipment.
- Check deliveries are accurate and complete.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
- Carry out basic equipment servicing and routine maintenance.
- Complete equipment exchanges and assist with installations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Report equipment issues, delivery problems and customer feedback to the office.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy and in good condition.
- Follow all company health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Complete other reasonable field-based duties as required.

Experience
Previous experience in field service, delivery driving, maintenance, installations, equipment servicing or a similar hands-on role would be advantageous, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
A full UK driving licence is required if applicable to the role.
