Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately while offering recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Engage with guests to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, ensuring excellent customer experience.
- Adhere to responsible serving practices and ensure all alcohol is served in accordance with legal requirements.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or club environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- A personable attitude that fosters positive interactions with guests and team members alike.
