We are looking for a confident individual who is committed, driven, efficient, and able to provide Domestic and Laundry services within Branthwaite Care Home in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices. Working 23.75 hours per week on a rota basis Monday-Sunday.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain the Care Home, including service user's rooms, corridors, and public areas
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general cleaning
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and follow cleaning procedures
Skills:
- Previous experience in cleaning / housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all duties are completed within designated time frames
- Good communication skills to interact with service users and other staff members in a friendly and professional manner
Shifts will include 8am-2pm, 9am-2pm, 3pm-8pm
