We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated, consistent and committed team in Birchwood, Warrington, to provide high-quality support to adults with learning disabilities. We pride ourselves on a high staff-to-service user ratio, ensuring personalised and attentive support. Our service users are full of personality and enjoy a range of activities, including cooking delicious meals, shopping, theatre trips, going out for meals, bowling, cinema, day trips, hosting fun themed evenings and many more.
Key Responsibilities

Promote independence and choice.

Assist with daily living tasks including personal care.

Build trusting relationships, ensuring a person-centred approach to care.

Maintain accurate records and follow care plans to meet individual needs.

Work collaboratively with the team, families, and other professionals.

Waking Nights 20.30 pm-7.30 am (33 or 44 hours per week)
About You

A caring and patient individual with a passion for making a difference.

Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and every other weekend.

A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to promoting independence.
You are legally required to inform candidates that this role involves regulated activity before they apply. It is a criminal offence under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 for a barred person to apply for, or offer to do, regulated activity.

Opportunity to enrol in a fully funded Level 2, 3 or 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care upon successful completion of your probation period (up to 12 weeks).

If you already hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, we will support you to achieve Qualified Support Worker status within 12 weeks post probation, with pay increasing to £14.00 per hour.
