Role Summary:
Support the Build team by meticulously planning and scheduling work in alignment with program objectives. This role demands proactive communication across departments to ensure accurate and readily available information for the Build teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain project schedules that reflect program requirements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of program timelines and work schedules, providing early warnings of potential deviations.
- Ensure comprehensive visibility of project activities and risks across all areas.
- Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation.
- Assist Build Managers in defining project scope, activities, and timelines, engaging relevant stakeholders.
- Manage Streetworks administration, including updating the Streetworks system, ensuring permit compliance, and managing related documentation.
- Liaise with operations, local authorities, and third parties to arrange traffic management solutions (e.g., bus stop suspensions, road closures, traffic signals).
- Contribute to the development of streamlined processes and workflows.
- Proactively monitor permit status, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Collaborate with Build Managers to incorporate lessons learned into project planning.
- Track project progress and team locations daily.
- Monitor project performance against the plan, identifying risks and supporting mitigation efforts.
- Provide regular, timely reports on project progress, status, and risks, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety practices.
- Provide general support to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project coordination with strong administrative and IT skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan projects effectively.
- Strong scheduling experience and administrative background.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Telecommunications sector (desirable).
