Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with experience in various aspects of building and fabrication. Duties
- Fabricate, assemble, and install timber structures and fixtures according to project specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and join materials
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials and components safely and efficiently
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise execution of designs
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related construction trades
- Proficiency in fabrication and assembly techniques using hand tools and power tools
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or construction trades are advantageous
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual labour tasks
