We are seeking a professional, client-focused Level 4 Laser Hair Removal Technician to join our clinic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality laser hair removal treatments while maintaining excellent client care standards and compliance with UK aesthetic and health regulations.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 4 qualification in Laser and IPL treatments and demonstrate strong knowledge of skin anatomy, laser safety, consultation procedures, and treatment planning.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Perform professional laser hair removal consultations and patch tests
- Deliver safe and effective laser hair removal treatments using approved devices
- Assess client suitability, contraindications, and medical history
- Create personalised treatment plans tailored to client needs and skin types
- Monitor client progress and maintain accurate treatment records
- Provide detailed aftercare advice and ongoing client support
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are maintained to clinical hygiene standards
- Follow laser safety protocols and clinic policies at all times
Client Care
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain client confidentiality
- Build strong client relationships and encourage treatment retention
- Manage client expectations professionally and ethically
- Handle enquiries, bookings, and follow-up appointments where required
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and infection control procedures
- Maintain accurate consultation forms, consent forms, and treatment notes
- Ensure compliance with CQC guidelines (if applicable), manufacturer protocols, and insurance requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and CPD
Essential Requirements
- Level 4 qualification in Laser and IPL treatments
- Laser Core of Knowledge certification
- Previous experience performing laser hair removal treatments
- Strong understanding of Fitzpatrick skin types and contraindications
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Professional appearance and manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
- Experience with medical-grade laser systems
- Knowledge of additional aesthetic treatments
- Sales or retail experience within aesthetics or beauty
- First Aid qualification
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
