Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Baby Room Leader to join our passionate team. In this vital role, you will lead and inspire a team of early childhood professionals, ensuring high-quality care and education for our youngest learners. Your leadership will help create a warm, engaging space where babies can explore, develop, and feel secure. Duties
- Lead daily operations of the baby room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for infants.
- Supervise and support team members, fostering teamwork and professional development through coaching and guidance.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early learning, curiosity, and independence.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
- Observe and assess each child's development, documenting progress to inform next steps in their learning journey.
- Manage administrative tasks related to staffing schedules, records, and regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience within childcare settings or nurseries.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a baby room
- Strong knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and safeguarding policies.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere.
