Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled HCPC Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our dynamic audiology team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional hearing care services by assessing clients’ hearing needs, fitting and adjusting hearing aids, and providing comprehensive support throughout their journey to better hearing. We also offer microsuction ear wax removal and we are ideally looking for someone competant in wax removal or willing to take on additional training. Your expertise will directly enhance the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments, making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities
- Provide regular ear health checks
- Perform Microsuction ear wax removal
- Conduct thorough audiometric assessments to evaluate clients’ hearing capabilities using specialized equipment.
- Provide expert advice on suitable hearing aid solutions tailored to each individual's needs and lifestyle.
- Fit, program, and fine-tune hearing aids to ensure optimal performance and comfort for clients.
- Educate clients on device usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting to promote long-term satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including detailed case histories, assessment results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
Experience
- Valid HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser is essential.
- Proven experience in audiology or hearing aid dispensing within a clinical or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology related to the auditory system, including anatomy and physiology of the ear.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to audiology and hearing health.
- Demonstrated understanding of anatomy knowledge pertinent to ear health and hearing device fitting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and patient care.

Pay: £21.00-£26.00 per hour
