Finance Manager
we are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the effective management of our day-to-day financial operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, providing accurate financial information and supporting the wider business with sound financial decision-making.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function and ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting and efficient processes across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations
- Supporting payroll and other financial processes
- Maintaining strong financial controls and compliance
- Working closely with senior management to provide financial insight and advice
- Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants/auditors
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and confident taking ownership of the finance function.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
- Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) are desirable, but relevant experience will also be considered

Pay: £42,000.00-£57,500.00 per year
