Duties
- Operate bulldozers to move earth, gravel, and debris with precision and efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Assist with site preparation, grading, leveling, and excavation tasks as needed
- Coordinate with project managers and other equipment operators to meet project timelines
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during operations
- Perform minor mechanical adjustments or report maintenance needs promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience operating bulldozers or similar heavy machinery in construction or land development settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Familiarity with excavators and other construction equipment is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating heavy machinery on-site
- Ability to interpret site plans, blueprints, and technical instructions clearly
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
