Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change (CN4C) is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Interim Accommodation Support Worker and Trainee Interim Accommodation Support Worker to join our team.
These roles are hosted by CN4C as part of a partnership between CN4C and Whole Again Communities Penzance, supporting people who have been placed in interim accommodation to take positive next steps towards more secure housing.

We are looking for people who can build trusting relationships, work in a person-centred way and support individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
As an Interim Accommodation Support Worker or Trainee Interim Accommodation Support Worker, you will:
- Work one-to-one and in group settings with people living in interim accommodation Support individuals to identify and overcome barriers to securing longer-term housing Provide information, advice, guidance and signposting to relevant services Build positive relationships with participants, partners and stakeholders Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting requirements Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends where required
The Interim Accommodation Support Worker role is ideal for someone with experience of supporting people in a professional setting and an understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing housing insecurity and multiple disadvantage.
The Trainee Interim Accommodation Support Worker role is designed for someone with relevant lived experience and a passion for supporting others, who is ready to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in a professional support role.

Pay: £13,288.60-£16,508.70 per year
