APC Priority Express is an award‑winning, independent courier company with over 35 years of experience, providing same‑day, overnight, and international delivery services.
As part of our Priority Zero initiative, we are expanding our zero‑emission delivery network in central Bath. We are recruiting Cargo Bike Couriers to help decarbonize last‑mile deliveries using next‑generation electric‑assist 4 wheel cargo bikes.
The Role
As a Cargo Bike Courier, you will play a key role in delivering parcels and documents across Bath while representing our sustainable delivery mission.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and delivering parcels and documents across Bath
- Recording proof of delivery and tracking details using mobile apps and ePOD scanners
- Communicating with operations teams and other depots to maintain high service levels
- Acting as an ambassador for our zero‑emission fleet
- Building strong relationships with customers while promoting sustainable delivery solutions
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Between 09:00 and 17:00
- 8‑hour shifts (with optional overtime available)
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a reliable, customer‑focused, and environmentally conscious individual who enjoys active outdoor work.
Essential qualities:
- Positive, hardworking attitude
- Punctual, trustworthy, and well presented
- Comfortable working independently for long periods
- Confident communicator, both face‑to‑face and over the phone
- Physically fit – role includes heavy lifting and deliveries to locations with steps/stairs
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Road or cycling experience with good knowledge of the Highway Code (full UK driving license not required)
- Careful and respectful with bikes and company equipment
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous parcel delivery experience

Training & Assessment
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a bike training and road safety assessment before riding cargo bikes on public roads.
