Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones and early learning skills
- Provide exceptional childcare, ensuring the safety, well-being, and emotional security of every child
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and classroom organization
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the nursery
- Manage daily routines including meal times, naps, playtimes, and learning sessions with confidence and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid childcare qualifications at Level 3 Early Years Qualification
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
