Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Offer personalised consultations to recommend suitable styles and products
- Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing
- Assist with store management tasks to ensure the salon maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Mentor junior team members and share expertise in barbering, colour techniques, or other specialised skills
- Upsell hair care products, styling tools, and additional beauty services to maximise client satisfaction and revenue
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist professional in a salon environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Experience in store management or overseeing salon operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff members and foster team development
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and attention to detail
