Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV 2 tipper tramper driver on behalf of our client in Barnsley for ongoing work - potentially going temp to perm.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- Can be early starts between 0500 to 0700hr starts

Salary:
- £16.06 + £1.94 holiday pay = £18.00
- £27.50 per night out 4 nights out = £110 Tax Free
- Pre-paid hotel accommodation with breakfast and access to all facilities.
- Minimum 8 hours pay per shift.

- Example gross pay = £18.00 x 50 hours + £110 = £1010.00
The Role:
- Ongoing work (potential to go perm)
- To be driven to site on Monday morning in a minibus.
- Lead driver always on site to help with any issues that may arise
- Moving building materials soil, rubble etc.
- MUST HAVE TIPPER EXPERIENCE.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence. (Held for 12 months min)
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card and valid Digital tacho card.
- Good communication skills, and customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record, with no more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations
