Nunhead Salvation Army Church & Community Centre is looking for a Relief Café Assistant to be responsible for the day to day running of a busy and vibrant Cafe.
Key responsibilities:

Prepare the food, setting up the café launch, take orders, serve customers, and maintain hygiene standards.

Be enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team

Have a good understanding on how take orders, prepare, and serve food and be confident in using the coffee machine.

Be able to receive customer payments for the food and use the cash register. Assist with cashing up at the end of the day as directed.

Maintain all areas including the tables to a tidy, clean and hygienic standard, ensuring tables are cleared and cleaned promptly.

Assist Café volunteers to work safe and effectively in the preparation, serving and cleaning of the café.
