Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Parts Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing parts inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts, providing excellent phone and in-person service.
- Process orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to track parts availability and delivery schedules.
- Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are kept tidy, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Provide maintenance support by advising on parts compatibility and technical specifications where necessary.
- Handle phone enquiries professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette at all times.
- Support the team with administrative tasks related to parts management and customer service.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Good phone etiquette, demonstrating professionalism during all customer interactions.
- Ideally previous use of Mamsoft Autopart.
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven organisational skills to manage inventory records accurately and efficiently.
