Job Purpose:
Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Car Valeter at our Preparation Centre in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hrs per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fully valeting cars to the highest standard
- Identifying damage, vehicle defects or shortages from vehicle specifications
- Carrying out internal and external inspections of vehicles to identify deterioration and damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the valet bay, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
What we are looking for!
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing (preferred but not essential — training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- A full, valid UK driving licence is required
