We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance.
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide information on features and benefits.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.
- Participate in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks.
- Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, as needed.
